Home Chemistry

Last week for Science we were learning about home chemistry. Home  chemistry is about all your science ingredients at home. Here I have put the name of the ingredient then the chemical name.

Aim: Looking at 10 household Chemicals.
Equipment:

  1. Salt                 Chemical Name: Sodium Chloride
  2. LD Surf            Chemical Name: Sodium Carbonate
  3. Vinegar           Chemical Name: Acetic Acid
  4. Baking Soda    Chemical Name: Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate
  5. Baking Powder  Chemical Name: Sodium Bicarbonate
  6. Cleaner            Chemical Name: Sodium Carbonate
  7. Detergent         Chemical Name: Chemical Formula
  8. Lemonade        Chemical Name: Cellulose
  9. Sugar               Chemical Name: Hydroxymethyl
  10. Citric Acid     Chemical Name: Hydroxypropane

    Hi Hayley

    Nice start to your blog post. Remember that your blog is a documentation of your learning and you want to be as professional as you can be. I wonder if you could take a look at your introduction and make it sound a bit more formal.
