This week for Music we made simple sentences into complex sentences. When we were on the mat we worked on the sentence The dog sat on the log and we turned that into In the morning the dog sat on the spikey log by a lake uncomfortably because he lost his owner. Then there were three sentences we could choose from to make our own complex sentences. They were The music was loud, She played the guitar and He was singing. I chose She played the guitar. Here is my sentences.
1. She played the guitar.
2. She played the classical guitar.
3. Last night she played the classical guitar.
4. Last night, in her room she played the classical guitar.
5. Last night, in her room she played the classical guitar softly.
6. Last night, in her room she played the classical guitar softly because she was bored.
Overall making the simple sentences complex sentences was fun because you got to experience new words.
