What is psychology?
The scientific study of humans to find out how their mind and body.
   
What jobs can you get with Psychology?
    Market Researcher - This is a person who analyses data and makes
    sure all the markets and salesmen are doing their job properly.
Laboratory assistant- This is a person who maintains their "boss's" equipment and helps out with their experiments.

Experiment No. 1

Title: What number is the favourite?

Aim:
I want to find out what number the people in my class like the most.

Hypothesis:
I think that there will be a lot of different answers.

Equipment:
A piece of paper
A pen or pencil
As many people as you want

Method:
Step 1
Get your paper
Step 2
Get your pen or pencil
Step 3
Ask your different people what there favourite number is between 1-20
Step 4
Tally up your results

Discussion:
I learned that most people like the numbers 7 and 5.
I think that if I did it with other people I would get different results.
What could I do better?
I could ask more people and see what answers I get.

Title: Remembering Words

Aim:
I want to find out If somebody can remember a list of words

Hypothesis:
I think that they will remember half of the words but forget the other half

Equipment:
Something you can write on
Something you can write with
A person you will read it out to
A list of words

Method:
Step 1.
Get your Pen and paper
Step 2.
Get your list of words
Step 3.
Get the person you will read your list out to
Step 4.
Tally the results

Results:
My Persons results were pretty good. Here were her results

Discussion:
I learned that some people are smarter than they look
I think that I was proved wrong with my thoughts
What could I do better?

Title Researching Famous Psychologist's

Aim:
I want to find out if there are any famous girl Psychologist's that have been alive or are still alive

Hypothesis:
I think there will be lots of information about the person I pick but I would like there to be a girl Psychologist

A Researching site on your chosen Psychologist

Melanie Klein

Results:
Here is my article about.... Melanie Klein:

Melanie Klein is a Austrian-British Psychologist. She was born in 1885 and died in 1952.
When she was a little child she was very interested in Science and psychology, and wanted to learn more. In 1919 she started to Analyse children. The first 3 children she Analysed were her 2 sons and her daughter which names were Melitta, Erich and Hans. When Abraham Lincoln found out that
Melanie Klein was Analysing children he said that he would support her and let her continue the Analysing. Even though she had, had a lot of successes in her life she had also had many tragic events. She had lost her sister when she was very young and her brother had also passed and she put the blame on herself for that. Then she got married and had children, then divorced and her son was killed in a climbing accident that may have been suicidal. Although she had had some highs and some lows she is still a great person to be remembered. The name Melanie Klein will still be famous.

Discussion:
I learned that people have lots of talents
I think that you can never judge a book by it's cover
What could I do better?

Aim:
I want to find out how peoples reflexes work and how they react to rulers dropping.

I think that people will get lots of high results with the experiment

I think that if I did the experiment I would fail miserably

Title: Jigsaw puzzle

Aim:
I want to find out if people can train their mind to remember the puzzle after they complete.

Hypothesis:
I think that if people train their mind correctly they will get the puzzle quicker.

Equipment:
A piece or pieces of blank paper
A pen or pencil
Some felts, Crayons or colored pencil

Method:
Step 1.
Get your paper
Step 2
Draw your design
Step 3.
Colour the design
Step 4.
Cut the puzzle into 10-20 pieces
Test your person
