Today we had to start our work on the Summer Learning Journey. This week is the teaser week which means that we just have to get used to doing the blogging for the holidays. The activity that I chose was to make my own Pepeha. A Pepeha is basically a mihi. Here is my Pepeha.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Mōrena Hayley!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I work with Emma in the Uru Manuka Summer Learning Journey team and I'll be commenting on some of your wonderful blog posts over the summer. It's so great to see that you've made a start on the teaser week activities - well done! :)
Thank you for sharing your pepeha. I think that it is such a lovely way for people to learn a little bit about you and where you're from. The way you've presented it is beautiful as well; I love the background colours of your Google Slides.
I see that you're from Invercargill. When did you and your family move to Christchurch?
Congratulations again on completing your first teaser task! Remember that the programme officially begins next Monday (December 16th), so be sure to check out the Week 1 activities then. In the meantime, keep going with the teaser week activities - I can't wait to read more! :)
Mā te wā!
